Cathy Faye Taylor

Kathy Faye Taylor, 58, of Cleora passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was born May 20, 1964, Somerset, Kentucky to Henry Bentley Creech, and Donna Faye Phelps. She attended school in Somerset and on February 26, 1993, she married Darby Taylor in Science Hill, Kentucky. They moved to the Cleora area of Grand Lake where they owned and operated Taylor Fiberglass Repair. Kathy enjoyed looking at the stars at night, flower gardening, looking at butterflies, and coloring. She was a very loving lady that enjoyed meeting and making new friends and was a great homemaker. She had a special place in her heart for all her family and loved cooking for them and having family gatherings. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Kathy in death are her parents, Henry Creech and Donna Phelps, a son David Bentley Creech, a sister, Lisa Creech, and a granddaughter, Hailei Grace Jenkins.

Survivors include her husband Darby, of the home, two sons, Danny Lynn Jenkins, of Cleora, Randall Dale Jenkins and wife Kara, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, a grandchild, Braylen Randall Jenkins, of Waynesburg, other relatives, and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 1, 2022, at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley, Oklahoma, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley.
